We are just a few days away from the start of a brand-new school year, and we are so excited to welcome our Timberwolves back to Mountain Meadow Elementary! This week’s newsletter includes visitor/volunteer procedures, arrival & dismissal reminders, spirit wear sale info, and other helpful information to make sure everyone feels prepared for a smooth start to the year.

Please take a few minutes to read through the newsletter carefully, as there are several updates that will be helpful for families as we begin the school year. We appreciate your partnership and support as we work together to create a safe, welcoming, and successful school year for all of our students.

Our first day of school is Monday, August 31st! School begins at 9:00 a.m. on the first day, there will be no late start this day. We can’t wait to see all of our Timberwolves and start the year together! 🐺

Families are invited to enjoy a cold treat and connect with our school community before the new school year begins. At 4:00 p.m., class lists will be posted under the covered area. After enjoying a cold treat and finding your child’s name, you can head to the classroom to meet their teacher and see their learning space. Event ends at 5:00p.m.

Welcome Back, Timberwolf Families! 🐾

We are so excited to welcome our Timberwolf families for another wonderful school year! Our first newsletter is packed with helpful information to help you and your child start the year off on the right foot.

Most of your questions can be answered by taking a quick look through the Mountain Meadow Weekly Update. Inside, you’ll find an overview of important school procedures, upcoming dates, Ice Cream Social information, and helpful details about some of our new and updated tools, including Skyward, BusRight, and ParentSquare. We know there is a lot of information at the beginning of the school year, so we encourage you to keep this newsletter handy and refer back to it throughout the year.

We can’t wait to see you at our Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 27th, from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. It will be a great opportunity to visit the school, meet your child’s teacher, see their classroom, and get ready for the year ahead!

Then, before we know it, we’ll be welcoming our Timberwolves for the first day of school on Monday, August 31st at 9:00 a.m. Please remember that there is no late start on the first day of school.

We are so excited for another year of learning, growing, and building our Timberwolf family together. Welcome to Mountain Meadow, we’re so glad you’re here! 🐺

A full-circle moment. 🎓
Today, our graduating seniors returned to Mountain Meadow Elementary for the annual Graduate Walk, where they were welcomed by cheering students and the teachers who helped shape their journey. Seeing former students walk these halls one last time as graduates is a powerful reminder of how far they’ve come and the bright futures ahead of them.

👚🧥Our Lost and Found Fashion Show was a HIT! Staff members strutted the runway modeling some of the many jackets, hoodies, water bottles, lunch boxes and other treasures currently waiting in our overflowing Lost & Found.

If you spot something that looks familiar, now is the time to come take a look! We’d love to reunite these items with their owners before the end of the school year.

Any unclaimed items will be donated to the Donald Loomis Clothing Bank after the last day of school, so please stop by as soon as possible to check for your student’s missing belongings! 👟🧢🧣👕
