Class of 2026 and families,
We are in the final week of our seniors’ K-12 journey and as this is an exciting time for seniors and families, there is a lot of critical information everyone will need in order to finish strong and ensure they have the needed details connected to year-end events and graduation. Please read carefully as there is lots of important information.
· Chromebook check-in:
o Friday June 5th from 1:30 -3:00 pm
o Monday June 8th from 8:30 to 10:30 am
o Any damaged or lost Chromebook or charger will result in a fine which must be paid prior to participating in graduation on June 9th.
· All fines and fees must be paid in full in order to participate in graduation practice and the graduation ceremony on June 9th at the Washington State Fairgrounds. You can pay online through our website.
· All students participating in the graduation ceremony must attend graduation practice the morning of June 9th and must be at the high school theater by 8:15 am. All students must ride the bus to and from graduation practice.
· During the graduation ceremony, only approved school-issued neckwear is allowed and no decorating or altering caps.
· Please see attached flyer for further information concerning graduation.
· When going to graduation on June 9th, guests will use the Gold Parking Lot and Gold Gate to enter and exit.
· Last Day of classes for seniors is Monday June 8th. We will have our moving-up assembly this day also. Please ensure seniors bring their caps and gowns to wear during the moving up assembly.
· We will have extra graduation tickets available on a first come first serve basis beginning on Thursday June 4th at 11:00 am in the main office. Please ensure you or your student know the quantity of tickets needed. If you have not picked up your tickets yet, you must pick them up by Tuesday June 2nd.
· We must vacate the fairgrounds 30 minutes after graduation. Please be respectful and help us to clear out in a timely manner.
· Senior Graduation pictures will be taken by Perler Photography. More information to come later about pictures.
· Seniors need to ensure they are passing their classes and in class for the last couple of weeks of their K-12 school career.
· Finally, this is a great time to remind your seniors to ensure they are making smart decisions as they finish up their high school careers. We do not want a decision to participate in a prank or another activity to prevent them from participating in the graduation ceremony. We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2026.
If you have any questions, please reach out as we are here to help. This is an exciting time for all of our seniors and we are excited to celebrate the achievement of earning a high school diploma and pursuing post-secondary plans. Thank you and Go Hornets!!
