Trent Stimpert’s parents raised vegetables and opened a business called The Pickle Cottage to market the pickles they produced. Years later, Trent and his wife reopened The Pickle Cottage using the family recipes and more. Their gourmet pickles have been shipped to customers in 38 states. If you need something light, out of the ordinary, delightful, or something that just leaves you with a peaceful feeling, swing by and check out Sarah Beth Durst's books. Three are part of a series, set in the same fantastical world where merhorses and winged cats exist. Where people might be blue, or purple, or even silver. Where unicorns are milked for cheesemaking and plants might be sentient, and talk back! A light fantasy, these books not only take you to a different world, but just leaving you with the feeling that everything is going to be alright.

While written for the adult market, these are appropriate for teens as well. In fact, the final book she has released to date, "The Faraway Inn" is written for teens. (It's also set in "our" world.)

If you've never read a "fantasy" book, these are the perfect ones to try. Truely, all are delightful. Swing by the library and check out one today!
