June 15th is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. If you suspect an elderly person living in Crawford County is being abused, neglected, or exploited, please call Adult Protective Services at 567-393-4729. Office hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

US 30 detour for emergency pavement repair

U.S. 30 eastbound from Old Lincoln Hwy (CR 330) to SR 98 is closed to traffic for emergency pavement repairs. Motorists traveling along U.S. 30 east will be detoured to the CR 330 Bucyrus/Oceola exit and turn right to take Old Lincoln Hwy (CR 330) through Bucyrus and reenter onto U.S. 30 east at the entrance ramp located on the east side of Bucyrus. Motorists traveling U.S. 30 eastbound will not have access to the SR 4/SR 19 entrance/exit ramps.

* Until 315 PM EDT.

* At 214 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Clyde to near New Riegel to near Alger, moving
southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
Tiffin, Norwalk, Fremont, Fostoria, Bucyrus, Upper Sandusky,
Galion, Bellevue, Clyde, Willard, Crestline, Plymouth, Forest,
Green Springs, Milan, New Washington, Bloomville, Sycamore, Morral,
and New Riegel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
