Bucyrus Police Explorers are now accepting applications for new cadets in the year for 2025.
Please review the program guidelines attached and reach out to our department for applications.

This program is open to any student in Crawford county between the ages of 13-21 years old.

Hey Everyone!!!

We are excited to announce that we will be doing another fundraiser for our program this year. We would like to officially invite everyone to our 1st Annual Battle of the Badges Chili Cook Off!

How it works:
Everyone is invited! the BOTB Chili Cook Off is a competition between your Bucyrus Police Department and your Bucyrus Fire Department. Come Join us while members of our local departments go head-to-head with some amazing chili. If you belong to another agency, please get ahold of me to entry a chili in the competition, we are still accepting entries. The best part? The citizens will be the judges! All you have to do is buy a ticket to taste, judge some awesome food and you let us know who will win this year's trophy.

Tickets will be available at the Police Department for purchase. Children 6 and under are $5, everyone else is $10. This will include tasting all chili, toppings of your choice, cornbread, dessert and your scorecard.

We will also have a co****le tournament scheduled to begin at 4pm. $5 entry per team with a 50/50 payout to the winning team.
