This Friday, we will recognize and celebrate the retirements of two dedicated Crawford County WIC employees whose years of service have made a lasting impact on our program and community.

Vicki Hartschuh (pictured on the left) has faithfully served Crawford County WIC since 1995 as our welcoming, dependable, and compassionate clerk. Mary Coleman (pictured on the right), our registered dietitian, has been an invaluable member of our team since 2003, providing exceptional nutritional guidance and support to countless families throughout the years.

Together, Vicki and Mary have positively influenced the lives of thousands of women, infants, and children through their commitment, professionalism, and genuine care for the families we serve. Their dedication to improving the health and well-being of our WIC participants has been truly remarkable.

We are deeply grateful for their many years of hard work and service, and we extend our sincere appreciation for all they have contributed to Crawford County WIC. We wish both Vicki and Mary a fulfilling, relaxing, and well-deserved retirement as they begin this exciting new chapter.

Today we celebrate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) Day, observed annually on the second Wednesday of March. We are fortunate to have two awesome Registered Dietitians as co-workers, Mary & Melissa. Our registered dietitians are specialists in prenatal, pediatric and infant nutrition. They provide nutrition counseling to identify eating practices we should avoid and help us understand what foods are healthier choices, which will help us live longer and healthier lives.
