Lots of fun happened today at the Harvey One-Room Schoolhouse! Paintings on slate, bookmarks, and nosegays were created! Kites were flown and co****le games enjoyed! It was a breezy day but we enjoyed celebrating Spring!

Donated basket door prize for the Harvey One-Room School “From Slates to Art and Literature” tomorrow from 1-4 pm. 1120 Caldwell Rd. Bucyrus. Basket includes United States puzzle, teddy bear, stickers, mug, t-shirts, books, crayons, pinwheel, card game
and more!

"From Slates to Art & Literature!" Spring Open House on May 3 from 1-4p.m. Create your own slate! Learn the history of the McGuffey Reader, calligraphy, enjoy 1900's post card display, outdoor games for the children, play a kazoo! Watch for updates!

Visit the school at 1120 Caldwell Rd. Bucyrus on December 7th for "Sleigh Bells Ring" from 1-4p.m. Santa will be there! Several horse drawn sleighs will be on display as well as treats, music and crafts for the children!

Join us this Sunday, September 8 from 1-4 p.m. We will be sharing several demonstrations including making cider with an apple press, butter churning, gourd crafting, powder horn with handmade ammunition, sample homemade stew made over a fire, or make a seed bomb with seeds gathered from our prairie! Several apple treats will be available (free)!
