Happy National Band Director’s Day to the people who do far more than teach music.
Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, long bus rides, endless rehearsals, and the constant belief you pour into your students every single day. Band directors teach discipline, confidence, resilience, and heart; often without recognition, but never without impact.

Years from now, students may not remember every performance, but they will remember the people who believed in them and gave them a place to belong.
Thank you for changing lives through music.

We want to congratulate our Wind Ensemble for earning the Best in Festival award at the Bayou Classic Festival in Houston last weekend!

This is the first time ever our Wind Ensemble earned this award! We are so proud of our students as they continue to make history for our school and band program!

Tomorrow is May Day! A full day of rehearsal, band registration, parent meeting, and a community exhibition performance. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on all week.

Students, see you in the morning starting at 9:00am! Make sure to bring a water bottle and snacks. Pizza will be provided for lunch.

Congratulations to our Wind Ensemble on today’s performance at the Bayou Classic Festival in Katy, TX!

So far, we have earned the Division 1 award, and the Outstanding Performance award!

We won’t find out the other results until Monday- we have to wait until the end of the contest.

The judges also awarded 8th Grade clarinetist, Silas Timmer, the Outstanding Soloist medal for his solo in Procession of the Sardar!

We are so proud of our students!
