We’re excited to welcome Scott Robinson, General Manager of Leif Johnson Ford of Buda, to the panel at the 2026 Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce State of the Community Luncheon!

While Buda is attracting exciting new companies and investment, Scott brings another important perspective to the conversation: what it takes to build a business here, stay here, adapt and continue investing as the community grows.

Leif Johnson Ford has been part of Buda’s business landscape for years, and Scott has had a front-row seat to the tremendous changes our community has experienced. Today, that commitment continues with significant investment in Buda, including its expanded commercial service operations.

BCC Mission has been serving Central Texas for more than 90 years, providing food assistance, financial support, education, and other resources to help families build greater stability.

And they’re expanding their impact right here in Hays County!

On September 15, BCC Mission will open Melody’s Market in Kyle, a new client-choice food pantry where families can shop for the foods that work best for their household—rather than receiving a prepackaged bag. It’s an approach centered on dignity, choice, and meeting families where they are.

We’re excited to welcome John Malloy, Founder and CEO of Even, to the panel at the Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 State of the Community Luncheon – 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰!

John is the founder of Even, a Buda-based advanced manufacturing startup building autonomous CNC machine shops with a mission to strengthen and rebuild America’s manufacturing base.

A Miami native and MIT mechanical engineering graduate, John began his career with Bain & Company, working in private equity and later in the firm’s aerospace and defense practice. His experience working within the defense industry gave him a firsthand look at the challenges facing America’s manufacturing and defense supply chain—and ultimately inspired him to launch Even.

Today, John and his team are bringing that vision to Buda, backed by leading Silicon Valley venture capital firms and building a network of highly automated manufacturing facilities.

Even represents the kind of new industry, innovation and high-skilled jobs coming to Buda, and we’re looking forward to hearing John’s perspective on why his company chose our community, what’s ahead, and what Buda can do to continue attracting the industries and workforce of tomorrow.

Meet Our Panelist: Patrick Johnson

We’re excited to welcome Patrick Johnson, President & CEO of Frontier Bank, as a panelist for the Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 State of the Community Luncheon – Building the Foundation For Tomorrow.

Patrick has been a leader in the banking industry since 1999 and is the driving force behind Frontier Bank’s strategic growth throughout Central Texas. A community banker at heart, he believes in combining personal relationships and local decision-making with the technology and services today’s businesses and families need.

And now, Frontier Bank is investing in Buda. Their new full-service Buda branch is under construction and preparing to open this fall—making Patrick’s perspective especially timely for this year’s conversation.

One of the questions we’re looking forward to asking him is simple:
