A little Disney magic made its way to Danbrook Elementary today.

Disney VoluntEARS surprised our Dolphins with a special on-campus experience. Students explored interactive activity zones, joined a dance party and even received a surprise visit from a very special mouse.

A huge thank you to Disney VoluntEARS for giving our students a core memory day!

Our CESD Leadership Team traded meetings for the warehouse as they rolled up their sleeves to sort, organize, and gather curriculum materials for our schools. From boxes to books, the team worked together to make sure our students and teachers have the learning materials they need for a great year ahead.

These districts and municipalities are keeping fleets safe and on the road starts by investing in the technicians who maintain them.

A great group of fleet technicians joined us at Cerritos College for our recent Heavy-Duty Air Brake Systems Training, with participants representing Centralia Elementary School District and the cities of El Segundo, Santa Ana, Torrance, Long Beach, Victorville and Rancho Cucamonga.

Thank you to each of these organizations for investing in their technicians and making continued training a priority.

Six years. Zero missed days. Three amazing students.

Last night we honored three former CESD students for perfect attendance from 2020–2026. Each received a trophy and certificates from CESD, Mayor Connor Traut and Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva.

Now attending Walker Junior High School, these attendance superstars continue to shine. We celebrate their perseverance and commitment. Thank you to the families and staff who helped them show up everyday.

Congratulations to former San Marino Rams Albert James D and Helena F and Buena Terra Eagle Nicole R. What a great start to a year of possibility!
