Equipment Operator Needed
The Blue Ridge Resource Authority
Is currently seeking to fill a full-time,
heavy equipment operator position.
The position requires the ability to
operate heavy earth
moving equipment, such as
a track loader, excavator, and dozer.
Candidates must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license and a minimum of two years’ experience. Training may be provided
for a qualified candidate.

Part-Time Scale Attendant Needed
The Blue Ridge Resource Authority is
currently seeking to fill a Part-Time Scale Attendant
position. The Part-Time Scale Attendant works
Saturdays only. This position will require weighing
vehicles in and out, inspecting loads for
unauthorized waste, assisting customers with
questions and complaints, answering the telephone,
and other various duties.
Candidates must possess a valid Virginia driver's
license and be familiar with Microsoft Office
products. Candidates must also possess excellent
communication skills. Experience is preferred but
we are willing to train.

Operations Assistant Needed

The Blue Ridge Resource Authority Is currently seeking
to fill a full-time Operations Assistant position. This position requires the ability to operate different types of equipment used for
mowing, trimming and other grounds maintenance tasks. This position will also be responsible for scheduling equipment maintenance,
running scales as needed, performing routine site inspections, scheduling equipment maintenance and assuring necessary filters are available, and
maintaining a daily log of landfill activities.
Candidates must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license, and must have a clean driving record.
