The News-Gazette introduces The Best of Rockbridge Awards contest! A contest that celebrates our community and local businesses!
Area residents can nominate their favorite local businesses, organizations and attractions. It’s the only one devoted exclusively to Rockbridge County, with votes cast in 13 groups. Nominations will go from July 29 till August 19.
Here’s how it works:

Join us for this week's dinner at the Buena Vista Fire Department for a savory meal catered by Sunrise BBQ. Dinner is served dine-in style from 6-7 p.m.

Stop by our resource table to speak with Lori from the Rockbridge Area Health Center about resources available in our area. Tanya with American Retirement Homes will be available to speak with diners about their available programs and resources. And, River Ridge Family Health will also be on-site to provide helpful information and simple tips to improve your physical health.

We keep getting questions about the carnival, so yes we do take cards at the food stands but they are only accepting cash for rides.
