The 2026 Labor Day Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 7.

McKinley Parkway and Red Jacket Parkway will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Traffic delays and backups are expected in the surrounding area. Please use caution, follow posted detours, and allow extra travel time.

Our new 311 Pothole Tracker shows where potholes have been reported and how our crews are responding.

Pothole repair addresses individual trouble spots, while paving resurfaces entire stretches of roadway.

You can also use our citywide paving map to view our progress in your neighborhood and what's next in our 2026 paving plan.

In anticipation of the Naval Park fireworks on Saturday, September 5, the following roads will be closed beginning at 4:00 p.m.:

• Marine Drive between Main Street and Erie Street
• Pearl Street between Marine Drive and Perry Boulevard

The roads will reopen once the event concludes.

Please use caution in the area, follow posted detours, and allow extra travel time.

🏊🎬 Masten Pool Flick & Float was a success!

Neighbors came out for an evening of swimming, a movie, and access to resources right in their community.

It’s yet another creative way Commissioner Roberts and our team at the City of Buffalo are making the most of our pools and bringing new programming to residents this summer. Reminder: Pools close on September 7!

🚧 Traffic Advisory 🚧

New Babcock Street at William Street is currently closed to all traffic due to an emergency sewer repair.

Access to New Babcock Street is available by approaching northbound from Clinton Street. A north/south detour is posted along Bailey Avenue.

The street will remain closed while crews complete the necessary repairs and will reopen once the work is complete.

Please use caution in the area and allow extra travel time.
