Harper County Court Clerk PUBLIC & GOVERNMENT SERVICE The Court Clerk issues legal warrants including subpoenas, summons, orders, processes, and writs as allowed by statute.

The primary responsibilities of the Court Clerk are to record, file, and maintain the proceedings of the District Court and to maintain books such as trial dockets, case files, and journals useful for locating past court proceedings. The Court Clerk keeps summaries of court actions in an appearance docket; maintains case files; collects court fees, fines, costs, assessments, and forfeitures; and d

istributes or expends collected monies. The Court Clerk is also responsible for issuing marriage licenses. The Court Clerk's office also registers Minister's Credentials. The Court Clerk keeps records of all jurors and witnesses in the District Court. If required, the Court Clerk acts as custodian of the County Law Library. The Court Clerk works with the County Sheriff's office in issuing process warrants for them to serve. The Court Clerk must also make regular reports and provide statistical and other information to the Board of County Commissioners, to the Administrative Office of the Courts, and to the various entities for which the Court Clerk collects fees. Various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports are required.

There is a scam being sent via text message to cell phones. DO NOT click the link provided in the text message and always check with your local agency if you think you may have an outstanding ticket.
The following is the text being sent out. Please feel free to share.

IMPORTANT: The Oklahoma DMV has scheduled enforcement for an unpaid fine, beginning March 12.
You have an outstanding traffic fine that has not been paid. Per Oklahoma Administrative Code 16C-16.003, if payment is not completed by March 11, 2026, the Department will enforce these penalties:
1 The violation will be documented in the State DMV's official records.
2 The registration for your vehicle will be revoked as of March 12.
3 A suspension of your driver's license for 30 days will be initiated.
4 A 35% service fee will become payable with the fine.
5 You risk legal proceedings and negative credit reporting.
To prevent these actions, complete your payment promptly at:

NOTICE OF PROPERTY LOSS IN HARPER COUNTY: As of now, the total Market Value loss in Harper County due to the February 17th Ranger Road fire amounts to $333,817 for homes, buildings, sheds, and bins.
