It's Foster Care Awareness Month and we are kicking of a special week of events for Fostering Greatness Inc. to recognize a special Foster Care Alumni Awareness Week for Western New York.

Join us for a special film screening, at the The Buffalo History Museum, tomorrow May 21st at 6PM for our short documentary Untold Stories: Life After Foster Care where 6 outstanding individuals shared their personal experience of the system and community based solutions to gaps in support for this population.

You do not want to miss this special event from 6-8PM including screening, reception and fireside chat discussing the film.

Today, May 20, is an opportunity to listen, learn and understand how you can help and make a difference in the lives of a foster care alumni.

Want to make a difference? There are several opportunities all week long to participate! Starting with a documentary and panel discussion tomorrow at the Natural History Museum.

May is National Foster Care Month. Over the next 11 weeks, we're amplifying our eleven Community Agenda items, starting with #11 - Supporting a Forgotten Population: Funding Support for Foster Care Youth and Young Adults.

Learn more about our leading partner Fostering Greatness Inc. and our 2023 Agenda goal to further support Foster Care alumni in Erie County by establishing a dedicated line of funding in the county budget.
