Labor Day weekend is here! 🇺🇸

A quick reminder that the HOME office will be closed on Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day. We’ll be taking the day to recharge and will be back in the office Tuesday, September 8th.

Fair housing means everyone deserves the opportunity to live in the community of their choice. 🏡

Housing discrimination can happen for many reasons including race, color, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, familial status, and source of income.

For families with children and people using housing choice vouchers, knowing your fair housing rights is an important step toward finding and maintaining a home in the community where you want to live. 🌳

Everyone deserves access to the opportunities, resources, and communities they choose. Fair housing is for everyone.🌟

🪴HOME’s Making Moves Program (MMP) supports families with Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8) in moving to neighborhoods that open doors for children to grow, learn, and thrive. With one-on-one coaching, financial support for moving costs, and workshops on fair housing, health, credit, and more—you don’t have to navigate this journey alone.

Still smiling from Saturday! 🌭💙 HOME’s Annual Community BBQ brought neighbors, families, friends, and community partners together for an afternoon full of good food, fun, and connection.
