Read to Succeed

Read to Succeed Community Alignment for Reading Excellence. Creating a community-wide priority on literacy for children from birth to age 8.

RTSB works to prepare children from birth through age eight for Kindergarten and the early grades through improved exposure to developmentally appropriate, literacy-rich environments. Through its collaborative initiatives, RTSB has developed models that provide children with the tools they need to be successful in school. With the help of Buffalo's three largest foundations and collaboration with

nearly 60 local organizations who share our mission to improve literacy in our community, RTSB works to give children the tools they need to get a successful start in school and in life.

Read to Succeed has been selected as this year’s beneficiary of Stony Brook Legendary Lights events!

Stony Brook Legendary Lights is a neighborhood-wide holiday light display that shines nightly from Thanksgiving through January 1. Each evening, visitors drive or walk through the Stony Brook Legendary Lights to enjoy the extraordinary light displays.

In return, Stony Brook Legendary Lights volunteers collect donations, 100% of which are invested into a local children’s charity. This year, residents of the Stony Brook neighborhood chose Read to Succeed from a pool of five not-for-profit organizations competing for the honor.

Please visit, https://www.stonybrooklights.org/donate to learn how you can get involved!
