Governor Kathy Hochul continues to say the new Bills stadium deal is a good deal. The question is good for who?

Governor Hochul asserts that the enormous public subsidy, largest in NFL stadium history, should be recouped through player income tax over the course of the next 22 years.

Buffalo-Niagara has some of the highest child poverty rates, a housing crisis now, and a public transit system that has decreased in routes and stops. Buffalo-Niagara can't wait 22 years. Our communities need help now.

Gov. Kathy Hochul says other cities were interested in the franchise if a stadium deal in Buffalo wasn’t reached.

You can't have a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) without the community.

It has been three weeks since the MOU between the State, County, and the Bills was released referencing a CBA. It states that " the New Stadium will benefit not only the [Bills], but all segments of the local community including the historically underserved communities..."

The community has yet to be given a seat at the table. The community has yet to be given a chance to share what they want. Despite having champions calling for a CBA, it can't be a CBA without the community.

It may no longer be a question of if there will be a CBA, but what kind of CBA will it be?

Let the Yankee Stadium agreement (not a true CBA, because community was not at the table) be a telltale for us here in Western New York.

A scathing New York Times report alleges barely any of the $40 million fund has been allocated to surrounding neighborhoods.

Take our survey to let us know what you would like to see in a Bill's Stadium Community Benefits Agreement.

Lately we have been hearing a lot about the new Bills Stadium and the expected $1 billion cost to New York State tax payers. We've also heard some discussion around a potential Community Benefits Agreement (CBA).

We think the stadium has to have a CBA attached to it, especially if taxpayers are paying for it!

We want to know what you think! Take our quick survey to help have your voice heard.

The Buffalo Niagara Community Reinvestment Coalition works with communities and banks to ensure acces to products and services for first time homebuyers.

With a historic shortage of homes for sale, investors making cash offers are pushing first time homebuyers out of the market.
