Join us Friday, September 18, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM for a special Patron Appreciation Picnic and GRAND RE-OPENING Celebration of Kenilworth Library.

Enjoy an evening of face painting by Melanie, hot dogs, water, snacks, lawn games, fun challenges, prizes, and music provided by DJ Christopher Johnson.

This free community celebration is our way of thanking our wonderful patrons and community for their support. Please bring your own chair for seating.

Special thanks to Wegmans and Town of Tonawanda Councilman Carl Szarek for sponsoring this celebration in part.

Something new is coming to the library for all the crafters, makers, and fiber art enthusiasts out there! Join us every Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a relaxed creative get-together where you can work on your personal textile projects while enjoying the company of others who love to create.

We’re hoping to build a welcoming fiber arts community where crafters can share ideas, enjoy good conversation, learn from one another, and simply spend time creating together. Whether you knit, crochet, quilt, stitch, or enjoy another type of textile art, we’d love to have you join us!

This is not a class, so please bring your own project, materials, and tools. No registration is required. Come craft with us and help us grow our new fiber arts community! For more information, call 716-834-7657 or stop by the library.

Make storytime part of your child’s week with Sensational Storytime at Kenilworth Library! Join us for a fun and lively program filled with wonderful stories, songs, hands-on activities, and simple crafts designed to engage young children and encourage a love of reading and learning.

Sensational Storytime is perfect for children ages 2–4 and their parent or caregiver. Sessions take place Tuesdays at 10:30 AM from September 15 through October 27.

Space is limited, so be sure to register and give your little one the opportunity to learn, play, create, and make new friends! Please call 716-834-7657 to register or stop by the Kenilworth Library.

It’s been one week since the Kenilworth Library reopened, and we’re so happy to welcome everyone back!

Story Time is back! Join us Tuesdays at 10:30 AM from September 15 through October 27 for ages 2–4. Sign up now to reserve your spot.

The Kenilworth Library is re-opening today, Wednesday, August 19th! 🏫📚 We will be open our regular hours and are looking forward to being back with all of our wonderful patrons!

Stop by the Kenilworth Library location and visit the Bookmobile while we put the finishing touches on our renovation! Browse and check out books and movies, return your library materials, and get a little taste of the Kenilworth Library experience while we’re still closed.

We don’t have a firm reopening date just yet (there are still a few bits and bobs to finish up) but this will likely be our final Bookmobile visit at Kenilworth!

Be sure to stop by and give a big THANK YOU to the Bookmobile crew for keeping us connected with books, movies, and library service throughout the construction project.

Good afternoon, Kenilworth fam! No updates to report, but a reminder that the Bookmobile will be back at the Kenilworth location this Tuesday July 7 from 1-3 PM. Hoping you can come out and support the fantastic Bookmobile crew, find a few books and get the coveted (but not needed to complete the Passport) Bookmobile sticker. With each visit we are getting closer to a re-opening date and we will update as soon as we get more information. Hang in there!

We know many of you are eager for the Kenilworth Library to reopen, and we’re happy to share that renovations continue to make progress! Thank you for your patience and encouragement along the way.

In the meantime, we’d love for you to stop by the Bookmobile on Friday, May 29. Whether you’re looking for books, movies, or just a quick library visit, the library on wheels is ready to welcome you!
