EI serves children from birth through 2 years of age and their families where there is a high risk of delay, a suspected delay in development, or a confirmed diagnosis of developmental disability. Evaluations are conducted to determine eligibility. A variety of therapeutic and support services are offered to eligible infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. If a child is found not eligible, parents can request developmental monitoring.

It's , courtesy of The Buffalo History Museum! On this day in 1901, Buffalo’s Pan-American Exposition closed. A 'World's Fair' covering 350 acres and including dozens of magnificent (but temporary) buildings, the expo highlighted the growth of the Western Hemisphere in the 19th century—and the optimistic anticipation the people of Buffalo had for the 20th century.

The attached post shows remnants of the expo following its closure. The History Museum is actually housed in the only remaining landmark, originally built as the New York State pavilion. To learn more about this pivotal moment in Buffalo’s history, visit the museum's renowned exhibits, proudly supported by Erie County.

For Winter Weather Awareness Week - what is Lake Effect Snow? This graphic from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) shows how cold air moves across a warm body of water (like Lake Erie). That air becomes moister - holds more water, because warmer air can hold more water than colder air. That wet air continues its path to land (like, Erie County), dumping moisture in the form of rain, sleet or snow, often in narrow bands. Snow totals in the most intense lake effect bands can range from several inches to several feet.

Please tell me the county will reconsider using the convention center!! There is NO PARKING available (without cost). I've been saying for months - get it to the Primary Care doctors and care centers!!

Fairgrounds...good option. How about all the banquet halls that have absolutely no business these days. Hearthstone, Samuels Manor, etc. They have ample parking, WiFi, multiple rooms for social distancing, etc. If they are open for 15 hours (use the other hours for cleaning please) and they vaccinate 200 per hour, they can get to their goal. Find a banquet hall in the north, city, and south. Easy peasy! This is not rocket science....it has been done before on a smaller scale and Florida is handling it nicely on a large scale. Fly someone to Lee County to see their system. One thing that Lee County has that Buffalo does not is good weather! Thus they are using tents.
"When voters entrust someone with the power and responsibility of public office, they expect them to work on behalf of the best interests of our community."

said this on December 20, 2020. So my question to you Mr. Howard Johnson is how true do you stand to your words?

It has been brought to my attention that a good friend of yours who pushes your campaign is in fact a known criminal. When the voters entrust you with power and responsibility of public office, how do we know you will work on behalf of the best interests of our community and not your friends?

Will you be impartial or have no moral sensibility?
Why does Erie County have no places to get vaccine. I’m considered in tier 1b, essential worker. But still we wait. What’s going on.
Is there a Facebook group associated with genealogy for the Lancaster Village area of the county? One of my great aunts, Louisa Laveing, lived there for decades and am interested if any relatives of her family are still in that area.
Mayor Commissioner

The primary objectives of the include: protecting life and property, preventing crime, suppressing criminal activity, apprehending and prosecuting violators of the law,
regulating non-criminal conduct, and preserving the peace.
Members are supposed to respond to calls, take appropriate action regarding any violation of the law, maintain a strictly impartial attitude and be courteous, and they shall take a neutral position in dispute of a civil nature (See https://www.bpdny.org/.../BPD-MANUAL-OF-PROCEDURES...).

Furthermore, employees shall not participate directly or indirectly, in any unlawful compromise between complainants and offenders and are expected to give both badge number and name when requested (Officer Dickson refused to give me his name).

Unfortunately, Officer Dickson, Badge ID 366 has taken it upon himself to conduct himself in a manner that is outside the scopes of the Buffalo Police Department's manual of procedures. This officer has discriminated against me and tried to file false charges on me, he then retaliated against me for giving a witness statement to Internal Affairs about himself, he has been partial to me and my property (I have the officer on video refusing to watch evidence to a crime, calling me a liar for the second time, depriving me of my property against the Constitution and Buffalo manual of procedures, etc.), told me to remove my cameras off my house without due process when there is high level of vandalism and criminal damage to my property, deprived me of full use and access to my property, and he has taken a position which is clear in a civil dispute.

I have an order of protection in place with 5 outstanding warrants against the person Officer Dickson, Badge ID 366 has taken a side with and abused his power to criminally prosecute me on false charges because of it. Officer Dickson, Badge ID 366 has made several attempts to make an unlawful compromise between me and the offender over the last 5 months. I am in Supreme and Criminal Court and any and all compromises will go through a Court of Law, not a partial police officer.

Due to the officers rogue behavior, partial attitude, and abuse of power I hereby request that this officer is to never be dispatched to my home again. I do not wish for this officer to set one foot on my property as I am in fear of him continuing to retaliate against me for filing good faith complaints which I have a legal right to do. I fear the relationship with the officer and my offender is friendly in nature and that is why he has committed the acts above. I am attaching a copy of the video where officer Dickson was partial to me, depriving me of my property, refusing to take the appropriate action to define a crime, and falsely charging me with harassment. I do not feel safe nor protected when this officer is dispatched to my home. On the contrary, I feel undue stress and fear of retaliation. I plead that this officer Dickson, Badge ID 366 is no longer allowed to respond to calls involving my person or home.
