In 2021, we saw the effects of the climate crisis only worsen. From heat waves to hurricanes and floods, too many lives have been lost to the climate crisis. We’re proud to be supporting @NYRenews in the fight for NY to invest $15 billion in the 2022 budget for climate, jobs, and justice. We need to fully fund the implementation of the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act and put NY on the map as a leader in the country against climate change. For too long, our neighbors on the frontlines of the climate crisis have lacked the investments they’ve needed and are hit first and worst by our incoming disasters. We’re proud to support @NYRenews in the demand for $15 billion in NY’s 2022 budget for climate, jobs, and justice. NY can lead the country to build a green and care economy with thousands of good, green jobs and direct investments and jobs to disadvantaged and marginalized communities. From upgrading public housing energy to expanding unemployment benefits, $15 billion will jumpstart a just transition and put power back in our communities’ hands. Learn more: bit.ly/15BillionForNY

Everyone has the right to healthy, resilient, and clean communities. That’s why we’re supporting @NYRenews in the demand for $15 billion in our 2022 state budget for climate, jobs, and justice. New York must start with funding for the communities across the state that have been historically disadvantaged and marginalized and are on the frontlines of the climate crisis. They will be prioritized for community grants for local projects, jobs, and large investments for infrastructure. @NYSERDA estimated we need at least $10 billion of yearly investments and $15 billion is proportional to the need to avert the worst of the climate catastrophe and investment in climate justice. We’ll win funding and justice for our communities in 2022! Learn more: bit.ly/15BillionForNY
