Kleinhans Community Association

Kleinhans Community Association neighborhood block club surrounding Kleinhans Music Hall in the Allentown Historic district of Buffalo, NY

Kleinhans Community Association (KCA) was formed in 1981 to promote the betterment of the neighborhood. The KCA is a block club that unites the neighborhood and promotes civic engagement around Kleinhans Music Hall in the Lower West Side of Buffalo, New York. Much of the area within the KCA boundaries are included in the Allentown Preservation District, which is an area of great historic value, diverse population and ideal location. The KCA area is located in close proximity to city resources, business districts, cultural amenities and public transportation. KCA’s mission is to facilitate communication among neighborhood residents and to advocate for neighborhood beautification, crime prevention, home ownership, historic preservation and quality of life issues. Members of the KCA work closely with various agencies and governmental entities to achieve these goals.

Allentown Association

Allentown is one of Buffalo’s most diverse and vibrant communities. We value this healthy diversity and know that systemic racism and injustice threatens the health of our neighborhood and all neighborhoods in Buffalo. The Allentown Association stands with those who stand up for justice. We support peaceful protest and other activism meant to bring about positive change; we celebrate the resolve, passion, and strength of those willing to make that change happen. Buffalo Recycles

Introducing our newest weekly game called:

"Wacky Wednesday!"

We will be showing you an actual photo taken of a City of Buffalo resident's green recycling tote and asking, "What is wacky/wrong in this tote?" We are hoping to help educate residents on our recycling contamination problem and thought we'd add a little fun to it!

We're kicking off with a real doozy, so maybe we should just ask: What SHOULD be in this tote?!

Leave your answers below!

We were pleased to again participate in the multiple block/neighborhood wide National Night Out Picnic. City and community representatives along with law and safety enforcement officials were on hand to introduce themselves and chat about our neighborhood.

Hot dogs were grilled. Live music played. And families, friends, business owners and neighbors attended to show solidarity for our Allentown neighborhood.

Special thanks to the Allentown Association, Kleinhans Community Association, and Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus for sponsoring.

Great time at our Night Out picnic. I am so thankful for our community and for all our public servants.
