Big news for Broadway-Fillmore! Yesterday, Governor Kathy Hochul and other community leaders cut the ribbon on the completed Eckhardt's Building reuse! This project is just the latest gem in our community's revitalization, featuring 28 affordable apartments and a free early childhood education program through Head Start.

Let’s celebrate this incredible milestone for Broadway-Fillmore and look forward to the bright future ahead, with even more exciting transformations in store for our community!

Cedarland Development Group completed its $13.5 million renovation of the historic retail building at the corner of Broadway and Fillmore Avenue, converting the long-vacant Art Moderne-style building into residences and a federally funded early childhood education program.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Adam, our Cornell High Road Fellow. Adam joined us as an intern early this summer, bringing fresh ideas and a passion for community engagement and outreach!

A student at Cornell University, Adam is part of the Cornell High Road Fellowship which is a programmed coordinated by the Partnership for the Public Good designed to connect students with social justice initiatives across Buffalo.

Our team was constantly impressed by Adam's enthusiasm when jumping into new projects and his dedication to creating systems that can be sustain by staff long beyond his term with the Buffalo Central Terminal.

Thank you, Adam, for your incredible efforts and significant impact on the mission. We wish you all the best as you continue your journey at Cornell University and beyond!

🚧✨ from Buffalo Central Terminal! ✨🚧

Our construction team has been working hard to replace the window coverings on the Main Terminal Building--including the Tower. Today they moved on to the iconic Passenger Concourse windows!

These NEW window coverings are now being installed thanks to generous funding from the Regional Revitalization Partnership. These custom-fitted coverings will protect against weather damage and ensure proper ventilation until the time comes to restore these iconic windows to their former glory.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to Phase 2 Construction at the Buffalo Central Terminal!

BIG thanks to our dedicated volunteers! Every Saturday, this amazing group puts in the hard work to keep the Buffalo Central Terminal safe, secure, and looking her best for our summer season of events!

They dedicate roughly 3,000 volunteer hours A YEAR, and we couldn't be more grateful. Help us show our volunteers some love and appreciation! 👏

And, BIG SHOUT OUT to the generous individual donors whose support enabled us to purchase two new push mowers for our volunteers. Now it is that much easier for us to keep Paderewski Drive looking sharp all season long! THANK YOU! 🙌

We've made significant progress to replace missing and damaged window coverings at our beloved Central Terminal. Our dedicated volunteers continue to do an amazing job keeping things intact, but we all know that Buffalo's winters can be HARSH. And, they can be especially tough on our historic buildings.

We heard your concerns, and we've acted! NEW window coverings are now being installed thanks to funding from the Regional Revitalization Partnership. These custom-fitted coverings will protect against weather damage and ensure proper ventilation for years to come.
