The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library sends sincere condolences to the family of George K. Arthur, a champion for equality in the city he was born in and loved. The former Common Council president, who died this past weekend, was a leader in the fields of education, housing, economic and community development. We will all miss George K. Arthur’s friendly presence.

We've been getting a lot of calls regarding re-opening. To be clear, we will not be open to the public on 12/28 and we will still be doing curbside services. EVERY MONDAY we will receive word from the main library if we will be open to the public or still doing curbside on a weekly basis. Our hours of operation will not change and will stay what they are under curbside hours, regardless if we are open to the public or not. There will be new social distancing measures being taken and patrons are being asked to limit their visit to 2 hours. If you have any questions please let us know.

Library materials with due dates between 11/16/20 and 1/3/21 will be extended to Monday, January 4, 2021. Stay safe!
