These are pictures from Professor Brachmann's 311 class last Wednesday. A retired Literacy Specialist from the West Seneca School District, Judy Sipior, came in and spoke to the students about early foundational skills and how to incorporate music into learning. You will see that many of the students had great "moves". Judy also explained about Orton Gillingham and the Literacy Lab program that she developed over the years to help beginning readers. The students also spent time learning about administering and analyzing running records!

Pictured below are students from Professor Brachmann's 311 class! They all visited School 18 last week and met with their mentor teachers in preparation for their field experience starting on February 24th. Mrs. Folts, the Assistant Principal at School 18, met with the students, answered questions and then took students on a tour of the building. They are all excited for this next experience in their educational journey as educators!
