Looking for a little friendly competition? Intramurals are designed to provide participants with a flexible yet structured schedule.

As a member of the National Intramural - Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA), the Canisius Intramural Sports Program encourages participation in a competitive, yet fun, sports environment. Structured to provide students, faculty and staff the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive and recreational sports activities, we have more than 1,000 play on over 140 teams, in 17 differen

t men's, women's, and coed activities. Teams are formed in a variety of ways such as resident hall teams, fraternity or sorority teams, off-campus groups, and many more. There are no coaches or team practices as teams within the college play other teams within the college.

Canisius College Intramurals

Welcome Back Everyone! Hope you all had a great first week of classes! It is that time, Intramurals is right around the corner and we hope to have just as great of a semester as the last! Keep a lookout for an email on Monday about signups and more information. The sports being offered are:

Basketball- starting Tuesday, 1/28 @ 7pm in the KAC main Gym
Handball- Starting Thursday, 1/30 @ 7pm in the KAC main Gym

Floor Hockey-starting Sunday 3/9 @ 5:30 in the P-lee
Volleyball- Starting tuesday 3/11 @ 7pm in P-lee
Indoor Soccer-starting Wednesday 3/12 @ 7pm in P-lee

We hope to do a late spring 1 day softball tournament depending on field availability! I will update everyone as soon as possible if that is going to happen.
