Seven members of JCSAR went into the high country of Johnson County on Wednesday of this last week to search more area in the assist for Bighorn County. We covered areas east and south of Cloud Peak. The night was spent near Diamond Lake. These pictures show how massive this area is and how difficult the terrain can be for searchers. A big thank you to all of those that help and support our team, you are all appreciated! Enjoy the rest of the summer and stay safe out there!!

Over this past weekend JCSAR was involved in the multi agency mission based out of Bighorn county. For those unfamiliar with the search area, here are some pictures from ground teams as well as from the air support we had on Sunday. High elevation, steep terrain, and remote area that is very time consuming just to get to, let alone search in. A huge shout out to everyone involved in this mission. Thank you to our Sheriff's department, dispatch and all of our awesome volunteers that put forth the effort to help out!

JCSAR had the privilege of meeting with First Flight last night for a landing zone/loading training. Great group of folks and we all learned some new info.....well maybe most of us, lol. Remember to support your local SAR crews, who knows what can happen out there and you will need our help!! Have a great day!
