We would like to acknowledge the distinguished career of our Chief Amy Pedlow. Today was the last day in a career that spanned over 30 years with SUNY University Police. She started as an officer with the University at Buffalo Police - UB Police, where she was promoted from officer to Lieutenant before joining us as our Assistant Chief at Buffalo State University in 2015. The last several years she has served as our Chief.

Chief Pedlow always represents Buffalo State with pride and goes out of her way to help those around her. Throughout her time in law enforcement, she has also been recognized for blood & platelet donations, has cycled thousands of miles on her bike with the Tour de Force memorial ride, and has volunteered with and coached baseball with the The Miracle League WNY.

Thank you for your many years of dedicated service, Chief Pedlow! You will be missed. We wish you the best in whatever comes next.
