Want a FREE street tree on your block?

Buffalo Street Trees is on the move, and we're coming to Saturday Academy at Riverside High School this Saturday, May 30th from 10:00 AM.

Saturday Academy bring students and families together for a day of hands-on learning and enrichment, and we're excited to be part of it! Stop by our table to learn about the many benefits street trees bring to our neighborhoods, from cleaner air to cooler streets to stronger communities.

Our team will be there to answer your questions and walk you through the simple application process to request a FREE street tree for your property.

Whether you're a longtime tree lover or just curious about the program, we'd love to see you there. Let's grow a greener Buffalo together! 🌳

Well, the Main Street Mega Cleanup is a wrap. The rain did not deter our volunteers. It did impede what we were able to accomplish (only a little bit).

We’d like to thank The Tool Library for suggesting this project and supplying tools. What would this community be without them?

Shout out to UB students who volunteered as a part of their Service and Pride Day, the Central Park Homeowners Association, The University Heights Collaborative, The University Presbyterian Church, Parkside Community Association, City of Buffalo Tree Stewards and random individuals who showed up to help (ok, I almost admire them the most. They aren’t affiliated with anyone, show up just because they heard somewhere about the project and worked really hard in the pouring rain).

Sponsors for our portion of the project include: The University Heights Collaborative, The Steer, Four M Sales, and S And S Deli. And most importantly, the City of Buffalo!

A special thanks to everyone!
