Absolutely hilarious! We called off the cleanup at Linear Park because of rain. I decided to go to the site in case if anyone showed. Rain had stopped. Everyone showed up!!! I only wish more people would come out. Think of what we could do! Picked some garbage and trimmed overhanging branches. Way to go!!!

Rain, rain go away! This morning’s cleanup at the Lasalle Metro Station and Linear Park has been cancelled. Rain is expected off and on all day. We’ll try again another day!

Calling all University Heights Environmentalists! We’re meeting behind the Lasalle Metro Station, Main St., 9:00 am, Sunday, August 30th. Our mission is to do some cleanup in the parking lot and head into Linear Park. We’ll have gloves and bags. If you’re coming and want a trash grabber, let me know by Friday morning and I will have one for you! [email protected]. It’s a chance to meet neighbors and like minded acquaintances. Let’s do this!!!

We are collecting signature to honor Candy Hayes for all the years of community service and impact she has made in the University Heights. If you ever appreciated the natural beauty of Minnesota Linear Park or the used the North Buffalo Rail Trail, you can thank Candy for all her work to clean up the park and get the trail built. Please sign our petition to get her honored.

Candy's has recented experienced some health issues and the community would like to honor her while she is still healthy.
