HAPPENING THIS THURSDAY, JUNE 25th from 10am - 2pm at the Resource Council of WNY, 347 East Ferry Street. It's Resource Connection Day!

We have another great day planned for our community and our friends at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and The Witness Project will be bringing the EDDY (Early Detection Driven to you) truck to 347 East Ferry Street to provide free mammograms and prostate cancer screenings.

The SPCA will also be on-site to help shape future pet care services in 14208. Current or former pet owners (18+) receive a $20 Visa gift card for completing a brief survey.

Awesome day in District 1 and beyond! From the 13th Annual Hispanic Heritage Community Breakfast to SNUG Day at MLK Park, and even time to visit Beau Fleuve Legacy Polo Match in between, it was great to be out connecting with residents and celebrating our vibrant community.

Happening THIS Friday, June 19th, from 10 - 12, at the Resource Council of WNY, 347 East Ferry!

We're hosting our first FREE Farmers Market of the year! We'll have a large assortment of fresh fruits and veggies to choose from:

Sweet potatoes, cabbage, red potatoes, spanish onions, collard greens, bell peppers, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, corn on the cob, apples,
bananas, peaches, pears and oranges!

Plus, you'll also receive a tomato or pepper plant to take home and grow in your own garden!

All while supplies last and ALL FREE!

What a great day at the Buffalo Commons Charter School Annual Unity Walk! Lots of walking, lots of fun, and the perfect excuse to enjoy some ice cream afterward.

I had the privilege of attending Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Juneteenth Flag Raising.

Juneteenth is a celebration of the liberation of our people, but it is also a reminder. A reminder of the resilience of our people who never stopped believing in freedom.

Roswell knows the importance of this day, and I thank them for all the work they do in our community to address the disparities our community faces.
