Honoring the Fallen is the newest initiative in the Clerk's SALUTES Program! In honor of Gold Star Mothers Day, yesterday Erie County Clerk Mickey Kearns issued the new discount cards to Gold Star Families in Erie County. We currently have 300 businesses participating and receive new applications everyday! As a community, it is vital we never forget the service and sacrifice of our military men and women.
This morning was truly special. In recognition of Gold Star Mother’s Day, our Gold Star Families gathered for breakfast at the Buffalo and Erie County Military and Naval Park. Our newest SALUTES initiative, Honoring the Fallen, supports these wonderful families in Erie County for their sacrifice and service to our nation.
