Fall hydrant flushing will begin on Monday, October 5, 2026.

Hydrant flushing is done in the spring and fall to ensure that hydrants are in working order for fire protection and to remove mineral deposits that may accumulate in the water distribution system.

The Great Outdoor Fair is on as scheduled tomorrow from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Sturges Park.

We are convinced that the weather forecast will hold and the rain will move out of the area by the time the event begins.

Today's spotlight leading up to the Great Outdoor Fair is - Backyard Homesteading with Cara Hesse - City of Buffalo.

This presentation takes place at 1:00 PM at the Lower Picnic Shelter.
