Hwy 79 at jct east of Reva will be closed for next couple hours starting around 10:15 pm as try to get the last truck out for the day.

Update added a few more pics of the goings on plus a truck on hwy 79 jacknifed, and Fernando got a flat tire and last I knew he is north out of buffalo.

Good morning, I had posted this on my personal fb page this morning. I was on 85 later and pulled this Tostitos truck out his front tire was just into ditch and my red and blue lights on. I got him pulled out I’m facing north in southbound lane have him pulled out and unhooking the tow rope. The drivers door on my pickup is open and a Nd vehicle passes me on the right as I’m walking back to vehicle as close to being a really bad and then goes past the Tostitos truck on right side. Please slow down and if see red and blues stop and wait till told what to do. There is a lot of traffic and hwys are horrible. Have a great day.

Trucks are off the hwys but hwys are are still icy especially south of 20 on 79&85

Be mindful this morning on your commute. Allow more time to get to your destination. Black Ice has been reported on the Highways in Harding County. Semis stuck on Hwy 85 North of the 168 in Butte County.

Good afternoon,well we have one more truck to tip up after the winds yesterday. I want to thank all the Emts,Fire departments, the HC deputy and SDHP. I want to give a special thanks to the ranchers that I called to see if they could bring a tractor to move the trucks off the road. Thanks Costello’s,Trent Turbiville and JD Brown. It’s great to live in a county where everyone that can,will show up and do a great job. Thanks to Plains Towing for getting all of these done.

Good morning,today is Cheryl Turbiville’s last day as administrator assistant after almost 9 years. I want to thank her for doing a great job for the Harding County Sheriff’s Office and the people of Harding County. I want to wish Ronald and Cheryl the best of luck on their new adventures in Minnesota.
Thanks again Cheryl for always keeping everything in line,including me,telling me where to go and what’s needing to be done.

Hwy is open again

Good morning, hwy 20 between first street w and second street west. The hwy is closed due to a roof laying on the hwy. Have a great day.
