Great progress on the redevelopment of the Trico complex. Thanks to the leadership of our Chair, Mayor Byron W. Brown, BUDC was able to play a strategic role in the redevelopment, preserving the building until a private developer interested in restoration was identified. We wish the Krog Corporation the best of luck for the next phase of redevelopment.

My Administration and the City’s development agency, BUDC, worked for years to save the Trico building. The Krog Corporation deserves significant credit for following through on their proposal despite the tremendous challenges that come with projects like the redevelopment of the Trico building.
