Since opening to the public in 2006, People's Park has been a place for the community to enjoy being outdoors, relax in a safe and comfortable setting, get to know their neighbors, and participate in enriching activities. People’s Park features raised garden beds; a variety of native plants; a pollinator house; a 30-seat amphitheater; a small play area; a LittleFreeLibrary; and 2 large public art
installations. People's Park hosts various art and science programs, community gardening, reading groups, concerts, and social events.
