Why YOU Are So Important! Chosen Vessels Incorporated (CVI), is you being a vessel of support to homeless women, no matter, how they got there! Your donations run the operations of a supportive home setting where women and their families have ample time to access and utilize resources. The concern of where they will not only sleep but do so safely without h
aving to degrade themselves for a night's rest is 100% removed. Thus, allowing full focus on the development of life-changing permanence and self-employment opportunities for women and their families.

Long-Term Community Benefits! Our clients can "give back", or "pay-it-forward", by joining the workforce or creating jobs from new business start-ups devised and co-partnered by CVI! This solidifies a newfound sense of confidence and respect from being a positive contributor to their communities cash flow, that a woman, her significant other, and their family, can be proud of!

Ten Year's No Change! Sadly, methodology in homelessness has not changed. No dent has been made in the homeless population. My business plan written in 2011, spoke to what that would take. While updating that business plan, my research uncovered a 2020 report suggesting a need for the same program and services written about in 2011! Meaning, nothing new has been implemented.

Why We Need You Too! Grant funding IS sought after but is a VERY competitive arena. Loans and their interest may take away from the objective and present risks. Contracts may replace our vision with governmental decisions. Your donations keep CVI independent, free-thinking, and enable outside-the-box extras like camping trips, which patrons, may have never done, or would not normally do! Thus showing parents other ways to interact as a family unit.

What It's All For! Everything CVI offers serves a Purpose and Change lives Permanently! Imagine returning to school, taking up a trade, training to be a hairstylist, becoming a Chef? Then imagine, start-up opportunities WHILE you learn! Now imagine, buying CVI out and becoming your own BOSS! Why CVI Needs To Be! There is NO current organization offering what CVI does! Having been part of the chronically homeless system; 15 times in 16-years! Not enough time was allotted to literally change my mind! Meaning, it can take years to destroy your life, or it can be gone in an instant. The point is, for some, a few months is not enough to change a way of thinking or restore it. Current processes for the more involved cases, do not and have not worked. Over 18-years, in my experience, always so much work is put on the woman, who is most likely suffering, abused, or traumatized in some way. Time restraints on shelter stays, and their children possibly with them, or temporarily elsewhere. Most facilities do not allow significant others to stay in the same facility. Can make it difficult to concentrate and can be VERY lonely. CVI wants to keep the family together which helps with motivation and parental training (if needed). However, what it appears, is not always what it is! If there is a hint of abuse, CVI will handle it appropriately. Today's organizations are unlinked, confusing, and discombobulated! Information between agencies is often out-of-date, and referrals are met with, "those services have not been offered in years!"
Imagine, having walked or taken public transportation all the way to a location and being told that. Better yet, imagine it in a snowstorm, or cold rain! Other than education and training services, where transportation to/from programs is provided, CVI will provide as many online and in-house services as possible. Our patrons will be kept busy preparing for their own success! After transitioning to a new successful life; Continuum of Care services kick in! CVI will continue to support your journey until you no longer need it!
