Proven Word

Proven Word Proven Word is a ministry built upon the principles of putting God's word to the test.

Realizing that God's Word is the Logos or the very mind of God whose desire for humanity is to put Jesus to the test because he is trustworthy of our obedience to God.

Good morning family, thank you for visiting Proven Word, where our Mashiach Yeshua (the anointed one of God who delivers) is our focus.

The scripture says in Malachi 3:10 (NRSV) 10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.

For many of us churchgoers, we have heard this scripture preached time and time again as a monologue to get us to pay our tithes and offering to our local churches. While this may be somewhat theologically/spiritually legit, it, however, is not the main point of the text. The value of an agrarian system was measured by how much it produced as a means of sustenance for its community to survive. Yet in this system, Yahweh required a mere portion to be dedicated to "his" storehouse for (possibly) the priest and those who work in the temple. Yet, more importantly, Yahweh was looking for hearts of obedience and respect as creator of all. Secondly, Yahweh wanted his people to put him to the test/prove "him" so that he could prove to them that he is a rewarder of those who obey "his" word. God wanted in exchange for their loving obedience a chance to bless them with overflowing abundance that went above and beyond their physical needs. Yahweh's word(s) are dependable and trustworthy, just like "Christ" who is the logos/word made manifest. We can put Christ's words to the test because they are trustworthy and true. So take a chance and become bold by taking Christ's word to heart and you will receive life and life more abundantly. ashe' and thank God
