Our first choir kickoff party was a success! A huge thanks to the Coker Fire Department for helping us fill the dunk tank, ABZ rentals for the dunk tank rental, Big Tasty food truck for feeding us, and the Coker City Council for helping us set up and letting us use the park!

Today, SV Choir members Luke Wilson, Logan Skinner, and frequent SV Choir helper/ percussionist Ridgely Selman performed a two hour set of music at the Tuscaloosa River Market. It’s great to see our wonderful musicians in The Valley share their talents in the Tuscaloosa area!

What a wonderful day for SV Choirs! The SVHS “Sipsey Valley Singers” travelled to Saint Mark’s Church in Northport for the Tuscaloosa Area Choral Performance Assessment, where we sang two selected pieces of music and sight read. We received an overall Superior Rating, which is the highest you can attain. Thank you to Ginny White Coleman and The Tuscaloosa County Choral Department for hosting us. Once again…. GREAT SOUNDS ARE BEING MADE IN THE VALLEY!!!!
