You may have noticed some new faces around town recently. Over the past few days, we were pleased to swear in Officer John Brislin as our new Chief of Police, along with several part-time officers joining the department.

Please join us in welcoming Officer Shelby Shull and Officer Jeremy VanWey, both of whom also serve with the Reno County Sheriff's Department. We are excited to have them as part of the Buhler Police Department team and look forward to their service to our community.

Update: Time changed!!

Join us tomorrow, Thursday May 14th at 1:40 pm, on Main Street and send these boys off to state. Let’s line the street and support them!!

Regional runners-up!

Buhler qualified ALL SIX players for the State tournament next Friday and Saturday in Topeka.

Singles:
Cayden Davis made it to the semifinals after upsetting the #4 seed in the quarters and ended up placing 4th.

Tucker Schlatter, seeded 9th, also upset the #4 seed on the backside to reach the 5th place match, where he knocked off the #3 seed to capture 5th.

Doubles:
Reuben Harder and Jaxton Gillette lost to the eventual champions in the semis. They defeated their teammates, Titus Bortzfield and Quinn Brown in the 3rd place match.

Bortzfield and Brown, seeded 6th, reached that 3rd place match by upsetting the #3 seed 6-2, 7-5 to get to the semis. They then lost to the 2 seed before facing their teammates in the aforementioned 3rd place match, finishing the day in 4th place.
