Our Public Works Department has been hard at work for weeks preparing the facility, while Pool Department staff have been busy finalizing lifeguard training and getting everything ready for the season ahead. Weโre excited to welcome community members back to one of Buhlerโs favorite summer gathering places! ๐

๐น The high dive has been removed. While we know this was a favorite for many, our poolโs current size, layout, and slope configuration no longer meet the public health, safety, and insurance requirements necessary to safely operate a high dive. Our top priority is providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests and staff, and we appreciate your understanding and support.
๐ Weโre excited to add a new basketball goal this season! It will be available for use during normal pool hours and is sure to bring even more fun to the pool this summer. For private pool parties, the basketball setup can be converted into a volleyball net option for groups to enjoy. ๐๐
๐โโ๏ธ Looking ahead, City Council has expressed interest in planning for the future of our nearly 50-year-old pool. The first step will be a facility study to evaluate the poolโs current condition, explore ways to safely extend its lifespan, and identify options for future improvements or eventual replacement.
๐ก Weโre excited to share that grant funding has already been secured to begin this study! The results will help guide future decisions and support thoughtful community conversations in the years ahead.
