Attendance Matters: every student, every day…

In an effort to promote attendance, each month, the GRADE LEVEL that has the highest percentage of students in attendance for the month will earn a FREE DRESS DAY for the ENTIRE grade level (school-appropriate attire.)

The grade level with the highest percentage of students in attendance for September 2025 was 3rd Grade. Thursday, October 9, 2025, ALL of the 3rd Graders will be able to have a free dress for that day only.

Stop by the book fair and guess how many butterflies are in the jar. The student who is the closest in each grade gets to select a book from the fair to keep.

The "I'm Reading Don't Bug Me" book fair is in the library at Sunrise. Hours are 8:05 am to 4:30 pm. The book fair will also be open on Thursday, Sept. 11 during conferences. There will be a guessing contest for all Sunrise students. The student who is the closest in each grade will get to select a book from the fair.

Parents, please remember that we do NOT have visitors the first two weeks of school to allow time for students and teachers to establish routines and procedures.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT - July 23, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.

Parents: This is your opportunity to meet your child's teacher and see their classroom.

REMINDER: The first two weeks of school, we do not allow visitors on campus to give students and teachers the opportunity to establish routines and procedures. That means we do not have parents walk students to class the first day, so back-to-school night is your opportunity to do that.

If you have not registered for next year, please do so. If you need assistance, call the school at (928) 219 - 3004. The office will close for the Summer on June 12 and will reopen on July 7.
