The Bullhead City Fire Department would like to send a special thank you to Jimmy Childers for providing a training titled “Still on Scene”

This training helps our first responders identify mental health considerations and concerns that stay with us after critical calls we face in the field. This also provides multiple resource options available through the department’s EAP.

Our crews are currently on site addressing an active structure fire. Two mobile homes with sheds sustained damage in the blaze. The fire has been extinguished and personnel are proceeding with the overhaul operation. Two individuals were transported to WARMC for medical evaluation. The incident was caused by the occupant's burning of weeds.

A reminder to the public that burning weeds within city limits is prohibited and may result in citation.

Today, the Bullhead City Fire Department honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selfless service will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything in defense of our nation.

From all of us at the Bullhead City Fire Department, we thank our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

🌊☀️ Water Safety Reminder ☀️🌊

No matter how strong of a swimmer you are, accidents can happen in seconds. Whether you’re boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, jet skiing, or swimming near the water, always wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket.

A life jacket can save your life when the unexpected happens. Don’t take chances with your safety or the safety of your loved ones.

🦺 Wear It. Don’t Risk It. 🦺

The Bullhead City Fire Department encourages everyone to stay safe and make smart choices while enjoying our beautiful waterways this season.
