Mammen Family Public Library The Bulverde Area Rural Library District serves a 200 square mile area in Comal County.

The library’s vision is to provide access to educational resources and learning opportunities, no matter what age or stage of life, in a safe, welcoming space. The library provides the following services for our community.

Benny is spending time outside enjoying the instruments in Eagle Scout Park while youth programs are on break! These large scale instruments are so fun for all ages! We know you miss programs just as much as Benny but don't worry we are kicking off summer in just 1 week!!

Registration for programs has already started! Most programs require registration as we have limited supplies. Not sure which programs require registration? Visit our online calendar at the link below to learn more about program registrations. Please note, none of the family performances on Wednesdays in July will require advance registrations, free tickets will be provided 30 minutes prior to the start of the program at the library.

The Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution District 8 Chapters are excited to announce the opening of the American Revolution Experience at Mammen Family Public Library, Bulverde, TX on May 27, 2026 at 10:00 am. The innovative pop-up exhibition includes twelve display panels and three interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation. Created through a collaboration between the American Battlefield Trust and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, the exhibit is also made possible by generous matching funds from the National Park Service's American Battlefield Protection Program battlefield interpretation grants.

The exhibit will run through June 2, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Mammen Family Public Library in Bulverde.
