🚒 We had a great time at the Louisa County Agricultural Fair! 🚒
This afternoon and evening, Alan and Ally represented Bumpass Volunteer Fire Department at the Louisa County Agricultural Fair’s Sensory Hour “Touch a Truck” event.
They brought out Attack 3 which is equipped to respond to brush and forest fires, as well as assist with storm cleanup by removing fallen trees and other debris.
Sensory Hour provides a welcoming, lower-stimulation environment where individuals with autism, neurodivergence, sensory sensitivities, and other unique needs can explore different kinds of trucks, emergency vehicles and meet new people and first responders in a comfortable setting. We were honored to be part of this inclusive community event.
