🔥 WHAT. A. DAY! 🔥

The Macoupin County Democrats were thrilled to welcome Governor JB Pritzker and the BIG BLUE BUS to Mt. Olive! 🚌💙

And what a powerhouse crew joined him! We were honored to welcome Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski, Christian Mitchell for Lt. Governor, and Deputy Governor Andy Manar to Macoupin County.

Our Macoupin County Democratic Chair Pam Monetti kicked things off, and the speeches? FIRE. 🔥🔥

Then came the BEST part—neighbors, candidates, elected officials, and community members gathered to chat, take photos, and enjoy some seriously delicious food from Fema’s. The room was PACKED, and the energy was even bigger.

A huge THANK YOU to the Mt. Olive VFW for providing such a wonderful space for this event. We’re grateful for your hospitality!

💙🌊 Great things are happening in Macoupin County!

Last night, Macoupin County Democrats and Macoupin County Indivisible brought volunteers together for training, planning, and a little connecting with fellow Democrats.

We learned the tools we’ll use for canvassing, laid out our countywide door-knocking plans, and heard from our Democratic County Board candidates about their vision and what they hope to accomplish for Macoupin County. Thank you to Deborah McNaughton of Macoupin Action Alliance for speaking to us about canvassing in our area. Thank you to Kelley Hatlee for hosting at Beatnik Books .

And we celebrated Macoupin County Democratic Chair Pam Monetti 's birtbday as a surprise. 🎂💙 We’re so grateful for all she does to bring people together and keep our local Democratic community moving forward.

The energy is building, the plans are coming together, and great things are happening! Let’s get to work! 💙🌊
