A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes to form.

What to do:

⚠️Stay alert and monitor weather updates
⚠️Have a plan and know your safe place
⚠️Charge your phone & gather emergency supplies
⚠️Be ready to act quickly

🚨 Tornado Warning = Take Action NOW

A tornado warning means a tornado has been spotted or detected by radar.

What to do:

🚨Go to a basement or interior room immediately
🚨Stay away from windows
🚨Cover your head and neck
🚨Do NOT wait—take shelter right away

Please be extremely cautious, drive slow, give yourself plenty of time for stopping, but most importantly,

Localized flash flooding may continue through the night in some areas of the state where a Flood Watch is in effect due to the significant rainfall over the past 24 hours. Today’s heavy precipitation may have caused quick rises in streams, creeks, rivers, and low-lying flood-prone locations. Please be careful and extra alert. NEVER drive through flooded roadways.
