Today, we honor Gold Star mothers and families whose loved ones gave their lives in service to our nation.

To every mother who longs to hear her child’s voice, every spouse who misses a partner, and every child growing up without a parent, we offer our heartfelt respect and compassion. No tribute fills the absence your loved one leaves. We remember their service, and we recognize the loss you carry every day.

Behind every gold star stands a person with a name, a family, and dreams for the future. As Americans, we owe them our remembrance. We owe you our care and support beyond this day.

We encourage our community to honor their memory through simple acts of kindness. Reach out to a Gold Star family. Listen when they wish to share. Speak their loved one’s name.

With gratitude and love of country, we stand with you.
