⚠️ Attention Candidates! ⚠️

The official candidate qualifying period is open today! Candidate qualifying week is from Noon on June 8 to Noon on June 12.

If you are planning to run for a county office or a special district office, DO NOT wait until the last minute! Candidates who delay this process may have difficulty opening a bank account and submitting the notarized, completed qualifying paperwork. Do not open a bank account before visiting the Elections Office. We recommend that you call to schedule a qualifying appointment. Otherwise, you may have to wait in the lobby if you arrive during another candidate's appointment time.

Candidate paperwork will not be accepted after Noon, 12:00 PM, on June 12. No changes can be made to the qualifying paperwork after this deadline.

City of Palm Coast candidates qualify with the City Clerk.

If you're interested in running for office this year, give us a call! We are here to help. Otherwise, check the website to see any new candidates who have filed, and their qualification status.

A candidate's filing status will change from "Filed" to "Qualified" on our website as they complete the qualifying process this week.

⚠️Attention Candidates!⚠️

Today is the beginning of the pre-qualifying period, which runs until June 5. The official qualifying week is from Noon on June 8 to Noon on June 12. Anyone wishing to run for office must file their required paperwork either during the pre-qualifying period or the official qualifying week in June.

Several news outlets have reported that candidates are qualified by petition, but that is only part of the requirement. Candidates may either collect petition signatures or pay a qualifying fee. In either case, all candidates must also submit their qualifying documents during the qualifying period.

If you are planning to run for county office or a special district office, please call the Elections Office to schedule an appointment for qualifying. Otherwise, you may have to wait in the lobby if you arrive during another candidate's appointment time. City of Palm Coast candidates qualify with the City Clerk.

Candidates who submit their qualifying documents during the pre-qualifying period will be added to our website as they file. A candidate's filing status will change from "Filed" to "Qualified" on our website after Noon on June 8, if they have completed their qualifications.

Candidate paperwork will not be accepted after noon on June 12. No changes can be made to the qualifying paperwork after this deadline. Candidates who wait until the last minute may have difficulty opening a bank account and submitting the notarized and completed qualifying paperwork if they wait until close to the deadline.

If you're interested in running for office this year, give us a call! We are here to help. Otherwise, check the website to see any new candidates who have filed, and their qualification status.

📢 Update for Flagler County Voters:
The redistricting bill has passed into law, and we want to share important information with you.
What this means for you:
➡️ Congressional district lines were reviewed and updated in parts of the state—but not all counties were affected.
➡️ Congressional District 6, which includes all of Flagler County, did NOT change.
If you live in Flagler County, your congressional district remains the same (CD6), and this legislation does not impact your current district assignment.
As always, our office provides accurate, up-to-date information so you can be prepared and confident heading into upcoming elections.
You can check your voter information anytime at flaglerelections.gov or by calling (386) 313-4170.
