A proud resident of Palm Coast and a World War II veteran, Mr. Stampone represents a remarkable generation of strength, service, and dedication.

Mr. and Mrs. Stampone stop by our office a few times each year to visit with Mr. Gardner and our staff—it’s always an honor and a pleasure to spend time with them.

Our kids had an incredible day at Bring Your Kid to Work Day.

Our kids were able to experience behind the scenes of Flagler County daily operations. They cast votes with the Flagler County Elections Office, participated in drills with Flagler County Fire and Rescue Department. The kids enjoyed the Flagler County Sheriff’s SWAT truck and the fingerprint station.

Our kids stepped into the role of field appraisers from our office. They learned how to measure homes and concrete using our tools and technology. True, hands-on experience of what we do daily.

It was fun- filled educational day for all the kids. Future looks bright in Flagler County ⭐️

The Flagler County Property Appraiser’s Office is proud to announce it has received a 100% rating on the annual Sales Qualification Study conducted by the Florida Department of Revenue.

This achievement marks the second consecutive year the office has earned a perfect Sales Study Ratio, reflecting the continued accuracy and professionalism of its review process.

The Sales Qualification Study evaluates how accurately property appraisers’ offices review and classify real estate transactions to determine whether they represent valid market sales. This process is critical because only qualified sales are used in establishing market values and ensuring fair and equitable property assessments.

The study measures the office’s ability to correctly identify and code sales in accordance with state guidelines, ensuring that non-arm’s-length transactions and other atypical sales are excluded from analysis. A perfect score indicates full compliance with standards established by the Department of Revenue and reflects the accuracy and integrity of the office’s valuation process. This process is overseen by the Chief Deputy, ensuring consistency, compliance, and attention to detail throughout the year.

Chief Deputy Michelle Morgan said, “Our team works year-round to ensure every sale is carefully reviewed and properly classified. This achievement highlights our commitment to maintaining the integrity of the tax roll and serving the taxpayers of Flagler County.”

In 2025 alone, the office processed more than 10,437 deed transactions, a significant workload handled with precision and professionalism.

Property Appraiser Jay Gardner said he is extremely proud of the team and their hard work in achieving this accomplishment.

The Flagler County Property Appraiser’s Office remains dedicated to upholding the highest professional standards and continuing to deliver accurate, transparent, and equitable assessments for the citizens of Flagler County.
