Last day for $25 advance tickets for the Buras VFD Oilfield Boil-off! Tickets can be purchased at the Black Velvet, Fill-A-Sack (Boothville), Iguana's, K&K, Joshua's Marina, Fremin's, Maws, or at the Buras Fire Department. Tickets at the gate tomorrow will be $30.

The Buras VFD Oilfield Boil-off is just around the corner! There are some team spots available. All it takes is $100 to enter a team and a minimum of 6 sacks of crawfish. Applications can be found at the Buras Vol. Fire Department, or requested by email at [email protected]. Food & Craft vendors are also welcomed. THERE'S STILL TIME TO PUT A TEAM IN! Anyone can participate in the Crawfish Boil-off. The cost to put a team in is $100 and you have to boil a minimum of 6 sacks of crawfish. Come out and support the Buras Vol. Fire Department. We hope to see you there!

Buras Volunteer Fire Department Oilfield Crawfish Boil-off is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024 for 11a.m.-5p.m. @ Fort Jackson. Any and all teams welcomed! More info. to come.
(Moved from April 27th to May 4th due to scheduling conflicts.)

Bring the Family out for a night of fun and treats. The fire department will serve hotdogs & chili and soft drinks while supplies last. Children's costume contest ages 0-12 1st & 2 nd place prizes will be given. Registration starts at 5:30-6:45 contest starts at 7pm sharp. Best decorated vehicle wins a prize. All car participants must be lined up by 5:30pm please we will have that side of Cazezu blocked off.
